About the Journal
Journal of Medical and Scientific Research (JMSR) (ISSN 2321-1326-Print; ISSN 2394-112X-Online) is an Open Access, peer-reviewed international and indexed journal published quarterly by the KIMS Foundation and Research Centre. The journal encourages submission of manuscripts with relevance to (but not limited to) clinical medicine, basic medicine, physiotherapy, pathology, microbiology, biochemistry, surgical research, public health and epidemiology, and pharmacology. The Journal also contains original research, case reports, letters to the editor, editorials, short communications, news and commentary, and review articles.
The Journal of Medical and Scientific Research does not charge authors any submission, publication, or article-processing fees. Only quality manuscripts are considered for peer review, and the journal may reject submissions without review if they include only an abstract or fail to meet essential scientific and formatting standards. Articles accepted through the formal peer-review process will be published in JMSR.

Post-Publication Corrections Policy
The Journal of Medical and Scientific Research (JMSR) is committed to maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of the published scientific record. When errors, ethical concerns, or issues affecting the reliability of a published article are identified after publication, the Editorial Board will take appropriate action in accordance with the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
If an article contains errors that do not affect the validity of the research findings, the journal may publish a formal correction to ensure that readers have access to accurate information. When concerns arise regarding the integrity, ethical conduct, or reliability of a published work, the Editorial Board will conduct a thorough assessment and, where appropriate, may seek clarification from the authors, reviewers, or the authors' institution before reaching a decision.
If an investigation confirms that the published findings are unreliable due to honest error, research misconduct, plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, data falsification, unethical research practices, or other serious breaches of publication ethics, the journal may issue a retraction. Retraction notices will clearly state the reason for the retraction and will remain permanently linked to the original article to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.
In circumstances where an investigation is ongoing and conclusive evidence is not yet available, the journal may publish an Expression of Concern to inform readers of potential issues relating to the article. Such notices will remain associated with the article until the investigation has been completed.
Requests for article withdrawal are considered only under exceptional circumstances, such as administrative or publisher errors, legal obligations, or ethical concerns identified before formal publication. Once an article has been published as the Version of Record, it will not be removed or altered except through officially published corrections, expressions of concern, or retractions. All post-publication notices will be permanently linked to the original article to ensure complete transparency and maintain the integrity of the scientific literature.
The Editorial Board evaluates all requests for post-publication changes on a case-by-case basis and makes decisions independently, fairly, and in accordance with internationally accepted standards of publication ethics and research integrity.
